Jenna Avriel Rice works in a variety of media including photography, filmmaking, and installation art as a response to the world around her. She is especially interested in covering issues around migration, human rights, and environmental degradation, as well as issues around death and grief.

When not traveling, Jenna lives in an old homestead house in Eldorado Canyon that helps to keep her connected to the beautiful Colorado Mountains.


Jenna has participated in various solo and group exhibitions in New York City, Mexico City, Xalapa, Veracruz, Maine, Washington State and Colorado. Her work has also been published in various print media and online publications. Her film You, Me & Gasoline has screened at festivals in California, Hawaii, Philadelphia, Colorado, Kansas and Arizona and has been nominated for numerous awards.
